Congratulations, America: We Just Beta-Tested Fucking Fascism and Called It Immigration Enforcement
By The Unredacted Bastard Independent Journalist • Democracy’s Fire Alarm • Professional Shit-Stirrer
Here’s a fun weekend party trick for authoritarian regimes:
Kill two Americans in broad daylight, lie about it on camera, reshuffle the command structure, silence the outgoing guy, send in a harder bastard, and pray Congress funds the sequel.
Minneapolis wasn’t a tragedy.
It was a proof-of-concept.
ICE and Border Patrol shot and killed Alex Pretti, an ICU nurse and veteran, and Renee Good, a mother of three — and the only real panic inside the regime came after the videos contradicted their bullshit narrative and the protests started to climb out of the algorithm.
If that feels like fascism, congratulations — your instincts still fucking work.
ACT I: The Regime Performing Accountability While Reloading
The Trump administration is calling what happened today a “shake-up.”
That’s adorable.
Like reassigning a firing squad is just an HR matter.
Greg Bovino gets yanked off the Minneapolis operation — not because DHS suddenly developed a conscience — but because the PR math went negative and the protests were threatening to turn into a national story.
Important clarification: Bovino keeps his national role.
This isn’t discipline. It’s narrative repositioning.
In a sane country, “two Americans dead” triggers investigations, hearings, subpoenas, and indictments.
In Trump’s America, it triggers Tom Homan.
Homan isn’t a reformer. He’s a fucking warlord for hire. His entire résumé can be summarized as: deport harder, lie faster, don’t blink.
ACT II: The Disappearing of Bovino — Authoritarian Edition
Here’s where it gets honest-to-God fascist:
CNN’s sources report that Bovino was locked out of his social media accounts as the shuffle went down — the authoritarian equivalent of confiscating your phone and deleting your passcodes before you can give your side of the story.
That’s not workplace etiquette.
That’s message control.
💣 TRUTH BOMB: Regimes don’t fire people for screwing up. They freeze them out for talking out of turn.
If the goal were transparency, Bovino would be testifying in front of a microphone.
If the goal were accountability, Homan would be under a fucking subpoena.
But the goal is neither.
The goal is silence and continuity of violence.
ACT III: The Footage the Regime Can’t Quite Bury
Witnesses say Pretti was helping a woman when agents opened fire.
Video backs them up.
Federal statements don’t.
Meanwhile, protesters are circulating footage appearing to show a woman with catastrophic hand injuries. We’ll be journalists for a second: that video is not yet confirmed by major outlets as ICE-caused — but if it checks out, we’re not dealing with “excessive force.” We’re dealing with the early stages of counterinsurgency doctrine against civilians.
Authoritarian escalation always starts with the injuries before the laws.
First, you bruise people.
Then you break them.
Then you amputate.
Then you kill.
Then you legislate the justification retroactively.
We are halfway through that sequence.
ACT IV: Congress Rediscovers That “Power of the Purse” Means Don’t Fund Murder
Democrats, for once in this long, pathetic era of civic decline, actually flinched in the right direction:
Shut down DHS funding unless ICE is leashed.
Not watered-down “rebalance,”
not “optics review,”
not “working group.”
A straight-up Not One More Fucking Penny unless oversight is real.
For people who haven’t studied authoritarianism (don’t worry, I have — it’s my kink), the moment when the legislature stops funding state violence is not symbolic.
It’s the last peaceful lever that works.
If Congress blinks here, we are not “sliding into fascism.”
We are accepting the licensing fee.
ACT V: Follow the Data, Not the Drama
Everyone keeps staring at the shooters.
Wrong battlefield.
The future of state repression isn’t guys with guns.
It’s Palantir dashboards, Medicaid data pipelines, “administrative warrants,” and cloud infrastructure that treats immigrants and protesters as database objects with toggles for “arrest,” “detain,” and “deport.”
💣 TRUTH BOMB: Authoritarianism isn’t powered by ideology. It’s powered by software and the absence of liability.
Palantir employees are already freaking out internally, because they know exactly what this tool stack is for — and no amount of TED Talk vomit changes the fact that Silicon Valley just built Trump a fucking Stasi with version control.
ACT VI: Minneapolis Was the Beta Site
Minneapolis is not a one-off.
It’s not a “botched raid.”
It’s not a “bad shoot.”
It’s a live-fire systems test for:
✔ state violence
✔ information suppression
✔ media narrative control
✔ interagency coordination
✔ and congressional tolerance for dead civilians
If the regime can kill Americans, contradict itself on camera, rotate personnel, freeze dissent, and still get Congress to pay for Phase Two, then we are not in danger of fascism.
We’re in deployment testing.
ACT VII: The Ugly Question Nobody on MSM Will Ask
Why bring in Homan?
Because Bovino defended the agency.
Homan defends the mission.
The mission isn’t law.
It’s domination.
Domination is how you govern when democracy becomes a speed bump.
HARD CLOSE
If Congress funds DHS after Minneapolis, then the Constitution isn’t endangered — it’s already fucked.
Minneapolis wasn’t a scandal.
It was calibration.
The next city won’t be a rehearsal.
It’ll be rolled out.
THE DOSSIER
I’m retired. I don’t have sponsors, PAC donors, lobbyists, or think tank sugar daddies. It’s just court filings, data leaks, late-night docket dives, and a borderline unhealthy obsession with calling this shit what it is — out loud, while it’s happening.
Paid subscribers get the War Room briefings, the deep dives, the legal autopsies, and the early warning systems.
👉 Upgrade and keep this bastard independent.
When you’re done watching the state slow-walk fascism into the daylight, go cleanse your brain with Lotus, the snarky tuxedo cat who covers the same regime without profanity and with better manners. Think of it as emotional triage for democracy.

ICE and CBP are actively building that database against civilians, their cars and addresses. They have more cameras than your average movie production crew.
