This past Sunday, George Stephanopoulos did something almost unheard of in 2025: he journalismed.
He didn’t politely “circle back.” He didn’t “thank” a liar for “sharing their perspective.”
He shut down J.D. Vance live on air when the Vice President tried to filibuster his way around a direct question.

Stop pretending you’re obligated to give liars free airtime in the name of “balance.”
When a politician lies, call it a lie.
When they dodge, cut them off.
When they cry “bias,” hand them a tissue and move on.
