No Person Means No Person, Jackass: A Constitutional Takedown of Trump’s Deportation Delusions
By: The Mayor of Funkytown — Patron Saint of Raised Fists, Velvet Ropes, and Calling Bullshit When Bullshit Shows Up Wearing a Diaper
Let’s get this out of the way: the U.S. Constitution is not a fucking menu at Mar-a-Lago. You don’t get to circle the parts you like in gold Sharpie and toss the rest in the garbage next to yesterday’s covfefe.
Right there in the Fifth Amendment, it says:
“No person shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law.”
Read it again, out loud if you need to. No. Person. Not “No citizen.” Not “No Republican.” Not “No white evangelical man who once saw a YouTube video about the border.” It says no person—and that’s not a coincidence, that’s the fucking point.
But Donald Trump, America’s first spray-tanned fascist influencer, never met a constitutional protection he didn’t want to stomp into the dirt with a golf cleat. The man’s contempt for the Fifth Amendment isn’t subtle—it’s his whole brand.
The Cult of Deportation and the Constitutional Guillotine
Trump’s obsession with immigration isn’t about law and order. It’s about control. It’s about fear. And it’s about dehumanization. Under his first term, he turned ICE into a modern-day terror squad, raiding homes, workplaces, even hospitals—treating undocumented folks like threats to be neutralized, not people with rights.
Let me be painfully clear: the Fifth Amendment applies to everyone inside the United States. Citizen or not. Documented or not. If you are here, you are protected under the law.
But Trump? He doesn’t give a single, solitary shit about that.
From “zero tolerance” family separations to trying to strip undocumented immigrants of due process altogether, his mission was simple: break the law to punish the people he doesn’t like—and dare the courts to stop him.
He tried to push mass deportations without court hearings. He suggested that migrants had “no right to a trial.” He promoted executive actions designed to bypass the very idea of due process. That's not just cruel. That’s unconstitutional as hell.
This isn’t immigration policy. This is a constitutional mugging with Steve Bannon holding the ski mask.
Authoritarianism in a Red Hat
Let’s call this what it is: fascism lite with a side of cheeseburgers.
Trump doesn't see immigrants as people. He sees them as props—villains in his “American Carnage” reality show. And his fans? They eat it up like pork rinds at a Klan cookout.
The line between policy and persecution is gone. He doesn’t want to enforce the law—he wants to use the law as a weapon. He wants mass arrests without trials. He wants expedited deportations without hearings. He wants the Constitution to bend to his insecurities.
And when the courts push back? He whines about “Obama judges.” When the media reports the truth? He calls them “enemies of the people.” When immigrants seek asylum? He calls them an “invasion.”
This isn’t leadership. This is a bloated man-child throwing tantrums and hoping the rest of us are too tired to stop him.
Fifth Amendment = Our Last Fucking Line of Defense
When Trump goes full tyrant, the Fifth Amendment is the wall that matters. Due process is not a privilege—it’s the foundation of American justice. Strip that away, and you don’t have a democracy anymore. You’ve got a banana republic in a red-white-and-blue costume.
The Founders didn’t write “no person” by accident. They knew damn well that power corrupts. They designed protections that applied to everyone because they understood one simple truth:
If your rights depend on your status, you don’t have rights. You have permission.
And permission can be revoked.
If Trump comes back—and the bootlickers are already lining up—we’re in for another round of constitution-shredding fuckery. But this time, we’re not going quietly.
This Is the Velvet Rope, Baby
Here in Funkytown, we don’t forget what that flag is supposed to stand for. We don’t buy the bullshit that “patriotism” means loyalty to a conman with fascist dreams and a spray tan that belongs in an EPA lawsuit.
You either believe in the Constitution or you believe in Trump. You cannot do both.
So to every so-called patriot out there waving flags while cheering mass deportations and salivating over detention centers—congratulations. You’ve sided with tyranny. You’re the villain in the story you thought you were winning.
And to the rest of us?
Grab your boots. Sharpen your tongues. The fight for the soul of the Constitution is back on. And Funkytown ain’t handing out passes to bullshit artists this time.
If you dig the Mayor’s groove, subscribe and share. Funkytown needs more citizens who give a damn.
