They’re cheering as the walls shake, thinking the fire won’t reach their seats. They wave their flags harder, chant louder, and share more memes with eagles and Jesus and automatic weapons, while the tent they helped raise is already in flames.

And Trump? He’s the one lighting the matches, laughing while they burn.

When the blue states go dark, the red states don’t get stronger. They starve.
